Title: Peer Pressure, Self-Efficacy, Outcome Expectancy, and Moral Values Predict Intentions for Active Management of Ecosystems in Oklahoma Authors: Bijesh Mishra, Rodney Will, Omkar Joshi Abstract The forest-grassland ecotone of the south-central USA is transiting towards close canopy forest due to the exclusion of fire. Active management can restore the ecosystem and its ecosystem services. Active management, however, comes with the cost of management and acceptance of management tools. This paper addresses the question of how landowners’ beliefs, attitudes, and norms about…

  • Customized plot using ggplot2 and dplyr

I cleaned the R environment, summarized annual rainfall data, created additional three variables, plotted all four variables vs. Year, customized plot theme, customized colors, customized legend, and saved image in the working directory using four different packages. The code and output is presented below in this post.

  • Use R!

I recently found a book series called “Use R!” where you can find several books with codes, tutorials, figures, and several other materials using R in diverse fields such as spatial data analysis, economics, differentiation, Bayesian statistics, data analytics, data mining, chemistry, health, genomics, and many more. Springer describes this series as: “This series of inexpensive and focused books on R is aimed at practitioners. Books can discuss the use of R in a particular subject area (e.g., epidemiology, econometrics, psychometrics) or as it relates to statistical topics (e.g., missing data, longitudinal data). In most…
